It's not. Device name would be in there. Mine are listed thus;

I'm no expert, but it's starting to look like a hardware issue to me.
Could be the drive itself, the i/f on the mobo, or maybe just a dodgy
cable or connector.
Maybe you've tried changing some (or all) of the above items, I can't
remember. If not, try plugging the drive into a different socket on the
mobo, swapping the drive cable, etc. Although first port of call might
be whether the drive is listed in the BIOS device list.

Links to hard drives and their partitions. I only know because I added
'-l' to the ls command when I did mine.
