It's actually worst than that since email attachments are bigger, up to
twice as large, as a regular file.

That's before you even consider that Microsoft's formats are often very
heavyweight. The same thing in OASIS format can easily be a tenth (or
less) of the size.

If the issue's avoiding huge numbers of copies then it dosn't even have
to be that well put together :)
