As another follow up, I can see that it could be quite a useful tool.
But there don't seem to be many settings or preferences that I can
change. For a start I do not like compiz, to me it is just a silly
distraction. But I can't find a way to turn it off.
And I still can't get the keyboard layout to be UK.
