Well, one last moan then. Why on earth was the default set to leave that
config item on? I often work in FF using just the one tab rather than
adding new ones every time. Now that I have changed the default I can
do that very easily. When the default was on every time I tried to
clear the tab contents I found myself back at the desk top.
Oh well, thanks for all the answers, it has been useful.
