I agree, the open devon site is clean and simple, which is what the lug
site should be,  so it's easy to find stuff,   sure we don't need a
whole new system for this as you said do what we do better,  and with a
password manager we may help people login and add content.

question is how can we achieve this without too much work (for server
admins) and end up with something is end editors can use easily and that
will make new users (esp younger potential members) want to look at us
further.

notice i have put a meetings policy on the other site,  this shows we as
a group are responsible for health and safety (wires are  trip hazard)
and safeguarding (which is sort of covered by saying children should be
with responsible adults) 

sure the wires / bags thing is obvious but its something people expect
these days for some reason.
