Demos
EVENT ON 11/1/2014 Will hopefully have the following demos
: Paul Sutton : QR code reader linked to a LED Ladder Board. At present I have got the qr code reader to read a qr code and output to the screen,
: Gordon Henderson : Fuzebox and Fuze BASIC (see picture of the Fuze box below)
: Tom Brough : PI robots, robot arms etc
The following photos were taken at Events arranged by or attended by members of the Devon and Cornwall / Exeter Linux user group.
Gordon Henderson has a wide selection of pi projects and addon boards.
Tom Broughs Robot arm with webcam. Camera looks at the colour of each car by moving over the top, when it finds one of a specific colour (usually red) the robot arm can move an pick up the car.
Another previous incarnation of this project of this Demonstrated at Software freedom day, was to use SMS messages to send instructions to the arm, which then acted on them. You could therefore control the arm using your phone and pick up a car.
Ball Tracking Robot. Using a robot kit, webcam and Open CV to detect and move towards a coloured ball.
