I don't think we need to worry about making things look like windows Gnome has an applicatoons menu, click on this and you can er access programs etc click places and you can get to parts of your system, click system and you can get 2 menus that give you either preferences or administration. Is it me, or is that pretty self explanatory, when you install stuff, it goes where logic says it should install an game adn it goes in to application / games. Lets think of users being able to think, at meetings you need to allow time for installation and then a quick run through of the system, most importantly how to get and look for help. setting them up with irc, could be helpful, as from there we can perhaps talk them through setting up thunderbird, and subscribing to the mail list.
