He certainly isn't perfect but a lot of people these days are
professional offence takers. It's his project and he can say and
do whatever he likes within the law. There is a weird idea some people
have that just because a project is open source it should accept
all ideas and contributions which is rubbish. If people don't like it
they can always fork. As a Linux user for 20yrs I am quite happy with
what he has done so far :)
