That's what they're there for. It's their job. Somebody brings a case
against somebody else. Each side present their case, and it's up to the
court to decide what the law allows.

And by and large, that's true. There are exceptions. The litigant with
the best lawyers usually win the case. In reality, that means the team
with the deepest pockets is usually the winner. As always, there are
