When you /do/ file a complaint with them all you get back - eventually - is an email saying 'Sorry we were unable to contact this company'.. I've had several of those. /How/ when I've provided the company's /phone number/? Surely even if the number doesn't answer they can obtain the address the number is registered to and write to them? If it's an offence to cold-call me, which it is, the police could have got a warrant to obtain the address for them. I complained about one number twice, got the same reply, and next time said in the notes that I didn't want to be told again 'we couldn't contact them' and funnily enough got no reply that time. So I reported it to Ofcom instead. Julian |
