if it helps my settings are:
- Allow all cookies
- Delete all cookies on closing browser
- In the clear history settings, on browser closing I delete everything
  except saved passwords, and those are few

I mirror these settings with the BetterPrivacy addin, that does the same
with flash cookies (which irritatingly are saved elsewhere)

I find allowing cookies is much easier: most sites expect to have them
and certainly it does improve the behaviour of a lot of sites. I just
delete the whole lot when done
