....I've personally never had issues with DMO.  Yes, 'fun' can be had
whilst using it.  On the Debian Users' mailing list, if certain ppl get
wind of the fact that one uses DMO they simply will not help - 'you've
made your bed....' sort of thing.

It works here, YMMV.

According to your original post, you do (I quote):

That depends:

May not get changed because epoch no. of DMO version is still higher
than version no. in regular Debian.
May be upgraded because epoch no. is lower than version no. of Debian
version.
May be uninstalled.
May land you in dependency hell with a system that can't be updated.
May all go smoothly.

No idea which is most likely - you'll have to wait and see.  Sorry.
