The cofounders are immense, do they have hard drives or SSD's, is the power
reliable, is the power protected against surges.
I would be surprised if with indoor modern desktop computers powering down caused
any significant effect on lifespan.
The usual problem is queuing up updates, but these days most tools handle that
reasonably elegantly.
