Surely you should have used gaffer tape though, that would probably have
fixed it!

There is a common saying amongst Land Rover owners that,

"If something moves that isn't supposed to then use the gaffer tape and if something should move but doesn't then use the hammer."

My phone has an FM transmitter built-in. It works great if you are parked up but as soon as you are driving around and different radio stations come into range it is completely useless.
