Well, yes and no. I do get your point, and generally it's true. Zoostorm pc's are a case in point. Crap quality, very cheap price. Lots of happy customers who feel they've got great VFM. But there are exceptions. As you point out, gamers (including myself) have special needs (read that how you will!), and we recently built a very fast server for not much money, that's also near silent.
