I'd like, in OpenOffice or similar, to have the word processor send each paragraph to something which returns a 2D barcode - QR or datamatrix or whatever - containing the text of that paragraph. It is an effort to solve a simple problem - reading barcodes off scanned documents - rather than an insuperable problem - persuading hospitals etc to stop sending printed letters on paper in favour of sending the file that was printed - or a merely hard problem - OCR from printed text. Software? Macros that send per paragraph to software outside?
