Well it is well supported and I guess there is no reason we can't say introduce people to kubuntu, if you don't like Unity, end of the day its about introducing alternatives, you can tell people you prefer say gnome or what mint offers over unity but that highlights the strength of free software freedom to choose. I will see what weekends i have no rugby over the next few weeks (not sure if eat that frog opens on a sunday, does epicentre open on a sunday) and let people know.
