Ammyy _seems_ to be legitimate software in itself, which can be used to share one's desktop. Of course, that may be all someone needs to effectively take over your computer. Ammyy has been used in this kind of scams at least since April last year, so it's quite bad their website doesn't mention this. Anyway, well done for keeping them busy for over half an hour!
