Thanks Rob, I was just about to reply citing something similar to the above.

It looks like with windows vista onwards Microsoft finally managed to
get some sort of logical idea for user accounts,  but how long has it
taken, them,. about 15 + years I would say,  Linux was doing
\home\username back when i started with slackware in about 1995,  i
guess unix was doing it way before then.

I personally find Windows Xp very confusing, esp when i come to it
having used Linux.

I agree we need follow up support, perhaps one thing we could do would
be to get people subscribed to the list, I don't mind giving support but
an answer on list means that its open to scrutiny by others, and in some
cases people agree in others,  they don't and offer a better or correct
response, but can also explain why another response was wrong.
