I know that is the server default page, that is why I mentioned it, so why James has it been sat there unsecured for over a year. From a guru talking about lack of Linux security, even a windows server would be more secure than that.

Not sure, in fact I'm wondering what you're trying to achieve with all the e-mails to the list?

I've done a bit of research myself...

www.Cloud9.co.uk which is the home of CloudNine Consultants Ltd (i.e. a UK registered Limited Company which I presume James is a director of) mentions UNIX and Linux, in fact they provide servers based on SME Server which itself is now based on a CentOS Linux core (I use it myself for my e-mail server and a couple of client's servers as it's great and does the job well). I can't find any mention of Windows on this site apart from a comparison between SME Server and Windows Server.

However www.cloud9consultants.co.uk is registered to a private individual called Masood Ahmed. Looking at cloud9consultants.co.uk it doesn't appear to mention Windows, in fact it mentions medical stuff to do with the NHS and Working Time directive. I have a feeling this site (which is Flash heavy) has been bodged together using templates, unless by any chance Masood is as the picture would describe, a white british/european male rather than possibly a guy of an asian ethnicity.

I'm assuming the Windows site you was referring to was this one? - http://www.cloud9.net/consulting/

It's a US based web site on a completely different domain. There is also a Cloud Nine Communications Limited, Cloud 9 Consulting Ltd, Cloud 9 Associates Ltd (recruitment consultants in Bognor Regis), Cloud 9 Financial (on Twitter), Cloud Nine Coaching Ltd, and my favourite... Cloud 9 Bridal Consultant (I'll have to remember that one, the wife is starting up as a wedding consultant and will be interested in getting more information about what other wedding/bridal consultants charge).

I guess you could say, Cloud 9 is pretty common, with maybe 3 or 4 other 'Cloud 9' or 'Cloud Nine' companies (possibly limited companies, or sole traders/partnerships) out there on the internet who deal with IT and Telecommunications stuff.

I'll say one thing for my business name, although hardly anyone pronounces it right, and no one remembers it, it sure seems to be unique (or at least it was back in 2005, with the only other reference to Esdelle on Google was a guy doing computer services on Esdelle Street in Norwich - which as a matter of fact is where I got my company name from :-D).

I'd also suggest that A1 Consultants is avoided, seems to be loads of 'A1 Consultants' out there, presumably because A1 comes pretty much first in the Yellow Pages listings.

Any chance we can all play friendly now?

Surely we've all got a common goal here, to promote the use of Linux and Free/Open Source software and to work out how to install Debian on a Toaster right? :-)

Rob
