Assuming they are willing to look in to this, do we have a list of 
potential supplies who can help out with this.

Where would we start,  would we be looking at moving schools over, or 
start with other departments first,  what about training,?  these are 
questions they may want to ask,  perhaps we can convince torbay council 
to adopt ingots in schools,  so we can facilitate training for both 
children / young people and adults,  or more importantly affordable 
training.

Are all schools are using a Virtual learning environment (aparently its 
some system called merlin from the torbay grid for learning) this is 
despite moodle being pretty much in use in every country in the world 
and a respected solution, with an excellent support network.  I think 
westlands are using moodle, though, so even with that its a mismatch of 
things, which is of no help to anyone.

anyway its something to think about, I will try and find out if the 
schools I work at have sorted out their vle systems yet, if not we could 
potentially be in for a chance to help em out with moodle if we can find 
a local supplier.
