Out of curiosity how hard would something like this be to build for
oneself. I love following the threads of the group and barely have
anything ever to contribute (my first post was on cameras as i do know
something about that. Yay!) as i am not extremely techi savvy but
rather simply interested.

i can forsee it would require some sort of motherboard, power supply,
and hard drive/flash drive. woulkd it need ram? can a distro run
without ram?
and lastly since it doesnt have any fans how does one solve excess
heat - though i assume this is governed by how much power is drawn and
natural circulation. what would be the feasible limit for the maximum
power supply to be used feasibly without mechanical/noisy cooling. one
could use a system simmilar to those shuttle pcs but just minus the
fan.
