Out of curiosity how hard would something like this be to build for oneself. I love following the threads of the group and barely have anything ever to contribute (my first post was on cameras as i do know something about that. Yay!) as i am not extremely techi savvy but rather simply interested. i can forsee it would require some sort of motherboard, power supply, and hard drive/flash drive. woulkd it need ram? can a distro run without ram? and lastly since it doesnt have any fans how does one solve excess heat - though i assume this is governed by how much power is drawn and natural circulation. what would be the feasible limit for the maximum power supply to be used feasibly without mechanical/noisy cooling. one could use a system simmilar to those shuttle pcs but just minus the fan. dan On 5/7/08, Neil Williams <linux@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > On Wed, 2008-05-07 at 18:03 +0100, cull wrote: >> Quoting John Horne <john.horne@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>: > >> The included storage is small at one GiB; external usb flash drive on >> the Lintop 1 and internal flash on the Lintop 2. > > 1Gb?
