Wow. That was unexpected. However, I am lucky where I live, we have a
very good local computer shop with two knowledgeable owners. They will
build a computer to your design and if you don't want Windows they are
quite happy about that and will not charge you for it. So I don't need
to look elsewhere.

IMHO any experienced user should keep well clear of PCW on
principle, even if they know what they want. They make their profits
from novices who don't know any better, so we should not encourage them
with our custom. Anyway, that is my feeling.
