This could have made an interesting court case,  with copies of your 
letters plus proof of posting etc,  their claim you are not co-operating 
would be thrown out, pretty quick, in fact the judge would probably back 
you up, and order them to pay court costs,  while you smugly open your 
wallet, remove a £5 note and hand it over, to them.  after which the 
court officials would probably grab it off them and take it as part 
payment towards costs, and order them to pay up.
