Nothing and no. It just stops responding to anything.

Yes- as I said in the first post- my actual camera is working perfectly- 
it's just the connection across the 'net.

I found out what is wrong with the latest version- I have to use a proxy 
for any http traffic and it was timing out trying to check it's 
connectivity to the amsn server (it really should have a better error 
message).

Without the connection status plugin and using the latest version, the 
webcam connection is now routed through the amsn server.

FIXED (with the help of the developers on the amsn forums).
