Hello again.
I, like many other no0bs, are currently undergoing the quest of getting
fedora core 5 installed.
As with other linux installs, you download the iso's, burn to disk then boot
from disk. However, the Fedora CD/DVD boots up ok, I press the enter button to
install graphically and then the kernal loads up Anaconda to continue the
install process.
My problems is that when the computer starts to load up Anaconda; i am
presented with nothing but a black screen and a mouse curser, unfortunatly i
am unable to get past this point.
I have downloaded and burnt both the single DVD and the other 5 CD's as I
first thought it was a problem with the DVD media.
Please if anybody can guide me on this matter i'd obviously appreciate it,
also I have read post's in the FedoraForums.
