They sound quite a useful device, do you need any additional *filters* to 
stop, for example, your neighbour having identical plugs and using your 
connection?

Well its working and stable so thats good :-)

The only thing I would say is it is slightly *cleaner* (IMHO) to have all the 
devices on the same subnet, ie have the computer(s) AND the router on 
192.168.0.X OR 10.0.0.X what ever you feel like. 

I think you have done this by giving each computer two ip addresses, so i 
would in this case remove the 192.168.0.X addresses and stick only to 
10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2 for the two PC's and leave the router alone.

No that should be fine. Its probably not a good idea to access the set up app 
twice but sharing the connection in this way is fine and a normal thing to 
do.
