looks promising,  Seems to have the look and feel of VB, may be good for rapid 
application delelopment.

Sounds like a job for LAMP (Linux Apach MySql Apache). MySql database. I have 
done something similar in PHP  (with mysql backend) for a customer enquiry 
managment system where we access it all through web browers, works a treat.
