Final update for a wee while.

Seeing as the nvidia installers don't have a precompiled kernel for 
Xandros (Debian based) they want the kernel-source.  Guess what didn't 
come with the OC version? chicken <-> egg anyone?

DOH!

One peculiarity I have noticed is that I have a Canadian layout keyboard 
(long story) and Xandros has accepted this in KDE.  However if I open a 
console in KDE it suddenly doesn't know I have a Canadian keyboard 
anymore.  Very frustrating as the / among other keys is in a different 
place.  Ever tried 'cd /home/julian/nvidia' when you don't know where 
the / is? ;)

I may be back with more news if I get the kernel-source :)
