This may sound strange, but none of my computers have CDROM / DVD drives
anymore :-) My desktop case doesn't even have a bay for a CDROM drive.
But yes, I could use a USB stick / or USB based DVD-R drive. It is still
a manual process, whereas at the moment I just get an email every Sunday
morning to say the backup completed successfully that week, or not.
Convenience wins over the uneasiness of using cloud storage.
