At Warrington Libraries, now 'privatised' as "Livewire".
Orford Jubilee Hub library.
Refer: https:// livewirewarrington. co. uk
Orford is classed as a deprived area.
I do so as a volunteer. I am the only one doing this.
I also when asked do the same at my local Livewire library in Culcheth
(not a deprived area).

I have for about 10 years attended for one day a week for 2 to 4 hours
on one day to give "one to one" lessons on computers to people who ask
for help. Mostly seniors* now. At first I also had many Job Centre
referred persons as they could not fill out the on-line government
forms. [Another story, it got me very angry, as this denied benefits to
folk who for mental health or physical reasons could not work computers.]
 * My best 'pupil' started at age 89 (never having used a computer, and
badgered by great grandson) and now at 92 instructed her elderly
neighbours how to use email etc.
That gave me a great return feeling for my efforts.

I also tutor a fluctuating group twice a month at the Warrington U3A
(University of the Third Age). It usually has about 4 to 5 attendees out
of about 14 members. Over 55 years of age.

This activity keeps me from going 'rusty' and is much less arduous that
looking after young grandchildren which fills another couple of days.
