Hello Pentiddy,

I use LastPass, a browser extension (Firefox, Chrome, & Opera). It has
significant advantages over Ff's inbuilt manager; It can generate
passwords for you, it can save several data pieces for one log-in. It
can also store bank/credit card and address details so that you don't
have to manually enter that info any time you make an online purchase.

All the data is kept on a server *away from your computer*. Having that
data stored away from home does mean you can log in from anywhere, as
long as you can install LastPass (obviously).

I use the free version, but there is a 'premium' (i.e. paid for)
upgrade, which offers some other options. The premium version costs $24
($ yes, really) per annum.

The down side is that the data, although encrypted and securely stored,
is on a server that can come under attack. So far, no customer data has
been stolen in such attacks (AFAIAA), though. Similar concerns apply to
some of the other options out there, obviously.

Now, sit back and wait for several different recommendations from other
LUGers. :-)
