It is easier to use a USB key for first attempt at dual boot, as it does
not destroy what they use, and are used to, while recovery to 'their
machine' is just unplug USB at start or use the GRUB entry to get to
their Windows.

Then after experience do an actual hard disc dual boot, when they are
not 'afraid' of a Linux Distro.

I find such users can easily adapt to 'Ubuntu XFCE', Linux Mint, and
some prefer OpenSUSE (due to YaST - controls all in one place for
hardware adjustment, )
