I agree with Wordpress as a choice for reasons already given.Â

Using github as a collaborative method is not user friendly, let alone newbie friendly. (I'm a programmer and I struggle at times.)

Having purely static html is doomed to failure.Â

I agree with the content ideas, but we moved to WordPress to make it
easier for users to contribute.

I'm minded reinstate WordPress, apply a little more security to stop
folk setting weak passwords, maybe 2FA and HTTPS (which is long
overdue), and reshape it from there.
