That's interesting. I'm not sure if I've ever seen that, but very short
TTLs (fast flux DNS) is a common spam/malware tactic, so it would make
sense that it could affect your score.

I generally use http://multirbl.valli.org/
And since you mentioned Symantec, I believe this is what you're looking
for http://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com/lookup/
