I'm not expert on comparative law, but France apparently has one of the
broadest surveillance laws among Western nations. The fact that the
attack on Charlie Hebdo still took place should teach us something.
The good news is that this is simply not going to work, even if they
tried very hard.
And btw, SnapChat doesn't use end-to-end encryption. For some reason it
was mentioned in the media as becoming illegal under Cameron's
"proposals". (WhatsApp would be though.)
