You're right, I was wrong. Sorry. I'd taken that "or conceal" to mean
"push down the ranking", which I now see is not necessarily correct.
That does substantially weaken a lot of what I've said, I admit. I
find I have to fall back on the arguments from natural justice, but
now with a great deal more wariness about the potential for abuse. I
still think the emergent concept of a right to be forgotten is going
to turn out to be essential in some form for the future of our
species.
