You would think that when the courts are able to prosecute someone they
would be made and example of and giving a bit more than the pathetic
sentence handed out here. I bet he made more money out of the scam,
than the fine.

While I am sure his victims are a bit p*ssed off at being conned, and he certainly deserved to be prosecuted, he didn't really hurt anyone and the money amounts involved are small so his sentence seems fair.

I am glad we don't have the stupid sentences they have in the US for things like fraud and hacking.
