I couldn't figure out why a certain bank's(1) web site branch locater
kept reporting the Cardiff branch as closer than the Exeter one.  Until
that is, I figured out that *all* their routing was done straight line.
Very accurate, admittedly, but not very useful.

(1) I can't, for the life of me, remember which bank as I didn't open an
account with them in the end.  I bet you can;'t guess why.   :-)
