Can anyone get excited about another bog standard Android tablet? The good news is the competition is pushing the price down into the children's market, so some original moves there like child friendly app stores, more bundled games. But whilst the reviews are positive it is yet another low end tablet. Trying to think what might differentiate the market. Maybe shipping with BT's WiFi service - which is Â60 or so if not a BT broadband customer, and/or SIM for data. Probably some other niche or specialist markets to go for. But even here the margin is minimal since you have to get under the cost of cheapest tab plus apps you bundle. |
