Technically HBO is a US TV station, and if I understand correctly a subscription service.  There's always the option of buying episodes on a video download service (such as Amazon or iTunes) or buying the box sets.  Personally I do like to buy the box sets on Bluray for the better quality, higher bitrates and better audio :-)
