We're exclusively a draytek shop now.

I swear by them too, but they do have one frustrating aspect, at least
older ones did -- I haven't needed to buy a new one for ages --
namely, scripting. Have you got a working approach?

I used to be a Draytek fan, but other than the 120's won't touch them
now. I found the VPNs to be unreliable and the routers to have really
bad NAT handling characteristics. Long-term NAT sessions (typical of
VoIP) would eventually break requiring a power cycle - which Draytek
handily provided via a timer mechanism... Maybe things have changed
since the 2800 series, who knows. The 2600's were even worse.

Fortunatey now I don't work with people who just want ADSL, so that
problem has mostly gone away for me.

What do you need scripting for? Initial provisioning isn't that hard...

Gordon

I have been following this with interest as I have been wondering about replacing my Netgear router. Then I Googled Draytek. I hadn't realised that I would need to take out a bank loan to buy one!!
