Um. If it's a burglar, they're actually *in* the address? They don't need any tech knowhow, just the ability to intercept the delivery of whatever posing as a member of the household. Alternatively if they have access to the Amazon account, what's to stop them adding an address of their own, and changing the address of email order confirmations so the user is none the wiser until they get the bill? By that time Burglar Bill has gone back into their Amazon account and reversed all the changes leaving no trace - apart of course from the IP address the changes were made from, if the server logged it, which could be someone else's open WiFi.
