I have been looking around the internet for a replacement router. The one I have (Netgear DG834G v5) is fine but a) my Sony phone does not like it and b) it is fairly old now so does not include Wifi n. Now I am getting a bit confused, some of the reviews are saying that 'this router does not include a modem so you will need to add one'. I thought that all routers included a modem automatically. Obviously I am getting a bit confused here, and Google has not helped. Can anyone explain please?
