I didn't say that Pulseaudio didn't work. I did get it to work in the end but it took a lot of questions and research first over a period of three days. Then I set up my laptop which is in another room. This uses Alsa for sound and it was up a working correctly very quickly (less than ten minutes) and easily. Hence my comment about it being so much easier with Alsa. It could also be that I had some understanding of Skype by then. Anyway, my Logitech C310 seems to be working well. If you let me know your Skype name Rob, perhaps we could give it a test. My Skype name is barnabyzz.
