In general HP seems to work well with Linux because of the HPLIP
project. Makes known to work are listed on the HPLIP website. If you can
afford it, try to get one with separate cartridges for each colour which
tends to work out cheaper than multicolour.

WiFi seems to work well, but quite a few have wired ethernet as well or
instead of.
