At Â18 I figured it wasn't too bad, slightly more than buying online from

So I popped in the Currys/PC World store, they didn't have it on the shelf
so I asked if they had it in the back. ÂThey didn't have one in, the guy I
spoke to said the only fans they had were over by the door... he pointed to
the free standing house fans!

So there you go, that is about the technical ability of the Currys/PC World
staff. :-)

In the end I bought a more expensive fan :-)

I'm reminded of a story a friend told me - admittedly third hand but probably true. ÂThe daughter of one of his friends went for a job in PC World but said in the interview 'I have to admit I don't know much about computers'. ÂThe interviewer asked 'Can you turn one on?' and when she replied she could he said 'That's enough for sales'.....

I think i failed my job interview at PC world when I said that i'd refuse to sell Norton Internet Security with new computers as it is a bloated buggy bit of software that would cripple an already under powered over priced heap of crap that you call a home computer.
