This is something I was thinking of doing. Having a small old PC (or maybe a newer low power PC, not sure yet) at my Dad's house which I can back important stuff from my server on to, and have him store his important documents on which are then backed up to my server at home.

Of course it's not entirely fool proof but hey, it's a start.
