Maybe so, but I really don't think it is helpful or look very good.
Perhaps I'm on my own there.

Ok, I think it came across originally quite a bit stronger than
intended. Certainly a bit of churn with new faces would be a good thing.

And on that note I have just remembered I was meant to be changing the
poster for the local shop to put up for the Holsworthy meeting. Poop.

I feel that perhaps I would be something like that on a larger event, I
have very very limited experience speaking in public, as the date got
closer if I had volunteered for some kind of role involving that I would
be getting very nervous. Even speaking one to one on a stand would be a
daunting prospect, I'm not confident enough in my own knowledge to start
fielding the general public, they are a scary bunch :P

Perhaps others start to get the same thoughts or something.

It also seems that in Paignton you have more "professional" members,
ones used to speaking or working in various computer related industries
or teaching and have a lot of knowledge in your areas. Holsworthy end is
(no offence to anyone!!) far more casual and probably more social than
anything.

I'd "like" to do something to help on SFD, but I wouldn't really know
*how* I can help. That is likely a common thought perhaps, little
experience in help organise this kind of thing.
