I agree with Neil here. We are a disparate group of people who happen to be interested in various aspects of free software and computing, some for home use and some professionally. I joined the LUG for mutual support. I have no intention of becoming a Linux evangelist but I support 2 friends who I've introduced to Linux and I'll talk about it if people are interested. I find that boring people does not bring converts. I've only been to a couple of Paignton meetings but if you need some funds for bits and pieces I'm willing to chip in a tenner.
